Neutrinos Must Be Tachyons

=============================================
GENEVA (AP) -- Scientists at the world's largest physics lab say they have clocked subatomic particles traveling faster than light. If that's true, it would break - if not severely twist - a fundamental pillar of physics.

Nothing is supposed to go faster than light. But scientists say that neutrinos - one of the strangest well-known particles in physics - smashed past the cosmic speed barrier of 186,282 miles per second (299,792 kilometers).
=============================================

The world of physics is certainly changing although in slow pace. I published the paper regarding the nature of neutrinos in LLNL archive in 1997. Now it seems like the real experimental proof is coming. This result is going to change the shape of our physics for ever.

The paper was based on the examination of the data from the neutron decay experiment and from the comparison of the data from the supernova explosion, and also from the observation of the lack of the evidence on whereabouts of the massive number of neutrinos in the universe. They (neutrinos) must exist somewhere but no one knows where. And surprisingly no one seems to be bothered by its lack of precise residency.

The mass squared value of the neutrinos has been consistently reported to be negative, yet scientists have been reluctant to admit that neutrinos can be tachyons. I suggested rather boldly at the time that all the neutrinos must be tachyons. There were other previous researchers (Chodos et al)who claimed that some of the neutrinos may be tachyons.

In this new frame of physics, neutrinos are always traveling faster than the speed of light. Contrary to the matter particles, neutrinos possess more energy when it travels slower. The world of neutrinos is like the opposite side of our reality.

Now the more serious side of this experimental proof of neutrinos speed of travel is that, the quantum mechanics can be explained as a random statistical interaction between neutrinos and charged particles. God really doesn't play dice.

Another consequence of this is that neutrino's pure kinetic interaction with matter particles can create the effect of gravity. I think I already mentioned this picture somewhere in this blog. The mechanical nature of neutrinos is essential to the understanding of the physical effect of dipole gravity.

How do we go about extracting energy from neutrinos?

What do you think of the zero point field and our potential to extract energy from it?

A partial answer to your question is posted in the following blog article.

More details are in the Youtube video titled "Physics of Free Energy Device".

Dear Eue Jin,
I googled your name, & arrived at your blog, as UT Austin does not have an email for you.
I am reading your paper from `97, `Neutrinos must be Tachyons', & I'm sure you must be quite excited by the OPERA recheck. Now all we have to wait for is for the GPS timing to be validated.
I have some detailed questions about the above paper, but first a simpler one. You state that the SN1987A => that the observed neutrinos are tachyonic w/rest mass ~ 1.3 Kev. Astrophysical measmts. limit the total mass of All 3 flavors to ~ 0.1 ev. How do you reconcile that ?
Wanted to share another tachyonic neutrino paper you may not be aware of, which I am reading now:
1110.1943
Curious if you are still in academe or wherever ?
Best,

I think the estimated rest mass limit they talked about is still based on the assumption that neutrinos are not tachyons. So, we are not talking about the same thing. When the accurate measurement from OPERA comes out, we will know for sure what the absolute value of the imaginary mass of the neutrinos is.

EJ: Might U answer my questions ?

Your 1.3 Kev neutrino prediction is at odds with all astrophysical predix, based on observation.
Why ?
Also, the paper by Zhu, etal, makes explicit reference to a superluminal neutrino. That makes it `tachyonic', i.e. having imaginary mass, as first posited by Gerald Feinberg in `68.

Einstein was not wrong as it seems every body is fussing about. If there were only material particles, his conclusion would be perfectly correct. We are talking about the unworldly particles that we mistook to be worldy particles. That was the neutrinos. And that was the source of the confusion.
I don't think there will be a whole lot of turmoil because of this results. It is time to reorganize our physics.

E=mc2 fella already said that light speed is the max speed on which anything can travel. So . It doesn't seems to help collect even information for measuring the outputs at higher speeds. Both the truths are cyclically canceling each other. So where to start from.

1. LightSpeed is the faster speed.
2. Something has been measured traveling at higher speed.

If they somehow could see start event and end event they are not seeing it in same dimensions. The particle must be traveling through times but traveling in time.

hm hm ;P

There is no concept of imaniginary mass particle in the classical physics. So everything is predicted, measured and interpreted according to the assumption that neutrinos are matter particles. What if they are not matter particles in the first place. Everything has to be readjusted including the prediction of the mass itself.
