How and Why?

Once you get to know what dipole gravity really is, you will experience the realization that the seemingly benign mathematical "trick" and a sensible logic becomes bigger and bigger until it overwhelms your entire knowledge of general relativity and the cosmology and come to the realization that how tiny all other adventures in general relativity have been.

See how many years the people in the field have been fallen into believing that the modified Maxwell's equation is the genuine part of general relativity which is also conventionally known as gravitomagnetism while it is far from the true general relativity. How many texts are written around this subject for so long as if it is the real thing? You will experience the tremendous sense of despair and helplessness because of the very realization that you are witnessing the deepest missing link of the mystery that has been eluding our science for so long. And also by the brutal awakening that how simple it was, when someone showed it exactly how it was

See how long it has been believed that general relativity has no answer for the large scale universe. .See also how long people in the field have suffered because of the lack of answer for the jets and the dark matter problems directly from general relativity.

In ancient Korea, when the scholars experienced this kind of upheaval in the high office of the academia or in the government, they simply went to the high mountain, shaved their hair and became Buddhist monks. The world in their minds has become meaningless because they suddenly have come to the realization that what they have built in their entire life has become a pile of manure.

It seems like I have given them the hardest blow that they have ever experienced in their entire life of academic career. But whatever that can fall will eventually fall because it is not built on the rock.

I understand the unresponsiveness. Because there is nothing to rebuttal.

I think many of the scholars in academia would have taken that path if this happened in ancient Korea. The whole life has lost its meaning in their minds.

I think it is time to wake up from the coma. What you are witnessing is the reality.

For those who believe in the time machine, here is an example of what its claim surmounts to. I made an apple juice out of a batch of apples. And now the juice is inside a several gallon sized bottles. Going backward time means that this juice suddenly comes out of the bottles by themselves and collects all the pieces of the apple bits and the liquid and form back to a complete batch of the apples that I originally started.

If you think this is possible, then it is ok to believe in the time machine. The entropy of a system is known to increase in any known physical experiment and this principle has never been violated in the universe. To claim that there can exist a physical time machine, you have to prove how the principle of the entropy increase is violated in a theory that is remotely plausible. There is no known physical event that requires the entropy principle has to be violated. There may be still unknown theory beyond general relativity that makes the entropy principle to be violated but, at least, general relativity dipole gravity from has already proved that the two way traversable wormhole is impossible.

On the other hand, one can argue that the theory of dipole gravity violates the energy conservation principle, but general relativity has never been proven to conserve energy in a local system. One can also argue that the theory of dipole gravity violates the Newtonian mechanics. If you insist the totality of Newtonian mechanics, then you can not explain the dark matter problem. General relativity is clearly shown to violate Newtonian mechanics from the example of dipole gravity and the simplicity of explaining the cosmological problem using the very principle.

Cosmic Battle Field

After all, Fritz Zwicky was right. There IS dark matter in the universe. The Lamda CDM model has been vindicated, while the MOND suffered a blow in this cosmic saga of the dark matter battle field. Except that there is no need for the presence of the exotic particles to explain the dark matter’s identity, most of the results of the CDM model should be valid without a major revision.

So, the LHC can relax from the pressure of the expectation of the detection of the exotic particles called WIMPs. At least for now it seems that the detection of the WIMPs is irrelevant to the success of the CDM model. Of course, even if the WIMP may be detected from LHC, there is no reason they should be populated in such a density around the core of the galaxies that the debate will not be over without an additional physics.

“Moreover, ΛCDM says nothing about the fundamental physical origin of dark matter, dark energy and the nearly scale-invariant spectrum of primordial curvature perturbations: in that sense, it is merely a useful parameterization of ignorance.” quoted from Wiki.

Now, what will be the real identity of the dark matter? Will they look like sands, ice, rocks or rocks of the size of the boulders? If we look at the volcanoes that erupt on earth, it will be pretty much the same as the jets from the rotating galactic cores except that the strong repulsive gravity at the poles will send them very far away (light years) than the usual pressure powered eruption of the volcanoes on earth.

Normally, the faster the expansion of the pressure as they come out of the nozzle, the finer the size of the particles and also the faster the rate of the condensation. But then the port of the rotating core of the galaxies may not be small whatever the meaning of the "small" in this case may be. So, one can expect that the rocks ejected from the rotating star could easily be the size of the boulders if not the size of the typical asteroids.

Futuristic Vision

It is not hard to see the connection between the present day rocket technology and the Newton's third law of motion for any one who has a decent amount of education. But it is hard to say if the people in Newton's time had envisioned the travel to the moon using the very principle written in Principia they just witnessed from a scientist. In this respect, in parallel, what we can envision as a scientist from the theory of dipole gravity in the future will be the travel to the far reaching space without the bulky rocket propulsion.

Since the base technologies(computers, electromechanics, fiber optics, metallugy etc.) have been developed extremely fast in the recent years, I believe it won't take very long before we can achieve that goal. How fast can we reach that goal depends on when will we start toward that direction and how much resources are we willing to spend for it. Maybe in this difficult economic times, we may have to start this project as a national goal as a means to recovery from the recession as well as for the hope for the future of mankind.

The brute force application of the principle of dipole gravity would be practically impossible due to the engineering difficulty if not the sheer effectiveness problem. On the other hand, the theory of dipole gravity suggests the actual existence of the etheric particles that I would like to call the tachyonic neutrinos. The manipulation of the density of the tachyonic particles will be at the central importance in the future propulsion technology.

But we can't see it and we can't touch it, then how can we manipulate it?

The central importance to this technology can actually be found from the particle physics. According to the Standard Model of the Leptonic particles, neutrinos are not totally independent from the electronic particles. The so called standard model of the Electro-Weak theory suggests that there is a non trivial relation between the weak and the electromagnetic interactions. What it fundamentally suggests is that the neutrinos can be manipulated using the electromagnetic means.

We already have had the theory of electromagnetism for a long time but we do not have fully developed the model showing how the behavior of the electromagnetic field influence the motion of the individual tahcyonic neutrinos. Here we need the fundamental change to the concept that the neutrinos are not completely gone when the beta decay occurs. They are with us in every steps of the space we move. All the material particles and matters float in the sea of the neutrinos.

Once we get this far, it is a matter of studying the behavior of the neutrinos density in relation to the electromagnetic field we create in space. This might turn out to be extremely simple.

Now, let's focus on the topics of the practicality of spending billions of dollars for the gravitational wave detection. We have to be very practical and conservative in this respect because we may be able to satisfy our curiosity if general relativity is actually correct in predicting the existence of the gravitational wave but we may not get anything beneficial to our civilization.

So the most important question here is what will we get after the detection of the gravitational wave?

If we had the infinite amount of spending capacity, I would not object to the project for the LIGO or LISA. But as they(the advisory committee) recommended for the defunding of the GP-B project citing the plausible reason that there are many other research project in science that needs attention. Using exactly the same logic, I would like to suggest that it is time to be very objective for the funding of the LISA and LIGO. Like in any investment in business, scientific project needs to have a serious review on what we will get with the amount of money we spend on the project.

First, we will be able to satisfy our scieintific curiosity on if general relativity was correct on this specific prediction on the existence of the gravitational wave.

What next? Tax payers spent billions for the toy that scientist enjoyed. But they have nothing get back from it.

Furthermore, I don't see any more futuristic interest as a follow up from LISA and LIGO. I haven't read anything that has been suggested either. We can't use gravitational wave for the purpose of the deep space communication. It may be too early to say there is none. But at least there is no remote theoretical prospect that has been proposed for such an application. Then what else?

Compared to this gloomy prospect for LISA and LIGO, the excitement and futuristic benefit for the dipole gravity research is mind boggling.

So, I would like to propose the establishment of a govenmental scale institution named "Center for Dipole Gravity Research" and a substantial amount of funding designated for it. Even if we spend ten percent of the fund that is anticipated for the next step project LISA and LIGO, the outcome will greatly benefit the future of human kind.

If we can manage to halt the funding for LISA and LIGO altogether, and invest it in totality in the dipole gravity research and its possible propulsion system, as well as for all the following technologies, the future of our civilization will be as bright as the Sun.

Insider Information

When the free exchange of the vital information is willfully blocked or suppressed, there is always a group of people who loses either their time or money or both. This is especially true in the financial stock market situation. That's the reason why there is a law prohibiting the insider trading. Insiders in the physics community, on the other hand, can block the vital information and try to perpetuate their influences over the scientific community.

I believe this activity is as criminal as the insider trading in the financial market. When this people in the field of general relativity blocked the idea of dipole gravity from publication, they had no concern or sympathy for the people who are spending enormous amount of time and energy to understand the cosmological problems like the dark matters, jets and anomalous red shift etc.

The scientific fields are all interconnected and no one fully understands how one field of science can be applied to all other fields in such way that they can be benefited. The merit of a theory or an idea is always on its own logical and mathematical consistency. The more general the theory is, the wider the related field of science that will be critically influenced. In this respect, the magnitude of the arrogance of the people in the field are staggering.

Now, some people may want to ask me why I didn't come forward early. I'm already being accused of using the Internet blog, popularizing the fundamental physics without using the proper channel of the refereed journals by some group of people. However, most of the ideas in this blog can not be originated without the paper published in the journal Physica Scripta. In fact, most of the themes in this blog can be deduced from the paper without a gigantic leap of faith. If anyone had picked this idea up early, all of these themes and ideas could have been found easily and registered as his/her own credit. The major reason for the answer to the question is that I had other scientific field of interest that had me occupied for the last ten years which I consider was/is as critical as this one, perhaps more.

In fact, the idea that the signs of the Lense-Thirring force being reversed was the hardest to catch. It was the most painful discovery as well. The centrifugal force interpretation of a part of the Lense-Thirring force was endoresed by Einstein in the early stages of the development of general relativity. So who am I to challenge this interpretation? But without that finding, the dark matter problem would have been out of touch within the scope of general relativity. In this process, I contacted Dr. McGough of MOND proponent early and proposed that the dark matter problems may be solved if we use dipole gravity. He was skeptical. When I examined the theory that I wrote myself carefully, the extended centrifugal force will become the repulsive force beyond the radius of the star in consideration. However, the spiral galaxy needs additional attractive gravity not the repulsive force to make the flat rotational velocity curve to work. Also the repulsive force at the poles of the rotating black hole would be much more natural for the jet phenomenon. Now, you reverse the switch and see how the theory will work. In fact, the first paper published in the LANL archive had the attractive force on the flat side of the hemisphere and the repulsive force at the dome. But that was written independent of the consideration of the Lense-Thirring force.

The well defined jets observed in the universe are actually the ones that has a very well coordinated spin axis without wobble. In general, the spin axis of the core of the galaxies doesn't have to be precession(wobble) free. So, instead of the well defined jets, the majority of the rotating core of the galaxies can have invisible jets that spewing the debris all over the poles without having the well defined incoming trajectories. So, it can be looked like it has no (visible) jets.

Of course, this is the perfect candidate for the dark matter.

The Great Deception in Physics Today

The normal reaction of people, when someone tells them of their mistake, would be to thank the person who found the mistake and correct it with an apology if it may have harmed anyone. However, there can be a possible opposite reaction, i.e., they get angry for being found of their mistake and try to revenge or harm the person who found the mistake or try to hide it as long as possible hoping that no one else may notice it, especially when the mistake is hard to notice by the uneducated public.

Of course the second choice of the reaction is from the evil intent. You lose some or large portion of the advantages or prestige you may have had by admitting the mistake and correct it. This effect can perpetuate very long distance especially the mistake has been taught and accepted without contest by many generations. As a result, there is a form of a school of thought that has been formed around this faulty assumption. Now the finding of the mistake is about to have the earth quake effect to the whole scientific community that has been based on this faulty logic and they have to find the reasons why they can not correct the mistake.

You can tell lies to a few people and may be from time to time, but you can’t tell lies to all the people all the time. This is going to break up and it has to. The most damaging effect of not correcting the mistake is the loss of the resources, especially the money and the people’s valuable time or lives. For a simple example, if you do not correct the design mistake of a bridge, it will collapse and kill the people. If you do not correct the scientific mistake, it will make the public to lose billions of dollars in the project that is not going to produce the results let alone the innocent students career who have to fight the mistake to understand the workings of the universe.

I feel sorry for MOND physicists in this respect, should they have known the paper, and the people in the field (of general relativity) have acknowledged their mistake, they would have never ventured into the subject like they did. And Marcus Chown didn't have to write the article titled "Dark Matter is Dead" that looks so silly at this point. Dr. Steven Weinberg, when I pointed out on this subject in 1998, he replied, "publish it". One may say that it was their mistake for not fully performing the literature search. But they will notice there is more to it than that. There was active effort to prevent this paper being published since it was sent to Physical Review Letters, Science and Nature for publication many times to each journal. Who would like to spend four years to publish a paper, the subject of which is so obvious and clear although it may be viewed revolting to the staus quo.

It seems to me this is what is happening in the gravitational physics community today. They perpetuate the deception hoping that the public would never be able to find it out. They should remind themselves of the saying that you can tell lies to a few people and may be from time to time, but you can’t tell lies to all the people all the time and also the saying that "people's mind is God's mind". Neither of them seems to notice or act on certain evils of the world immediately but they do eventually.

I deeply thank the review board of the journal Physica Scripta from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for this paper being published. Otherwise, it would have never seen the light of the day.

The Polhode Motion of GP-B Gyro is a 2 x 1 Lissajous Curve (GP-B Mission is a Success)

Despite the initial announcement of the Dr. Everitt’s group regarding the polhode motion of the GPB gyros to be an electrostatic patch effect, there are many unsettling questions on the plausibility of such an interpretation. Just for the moment, let's assume that GP-B data was correct and there was no electrostatic patch effect or magnetic flux disturbances that might have caused such an elaborate gyroscopic motion. If we assume this to be the case, the interpretation of the polhode motion becomes rather simple. It is noted that the observed polhode motion is basically the same as the figure of the number eight.

The GP-B gyro experiences the reversal in the direction of the second order(dipole) gravity force which is oriented along the direction of the latitude angle during the motion of the space craft from the North Pole to the South Pole. As shown extensively in this blog, the half of the rotating sphere constitutes a gravitational magnet and therefore, the rotating sphere forms two gravitational magnets superposed in the opposite direction. Since the axis of the gyro points to the remote star, the magnitude of the force causing the precession changes along the 1/4th revolution of the craft like in a sine wave and then the force changes its direction after the craft crosses over the equator for the next 1/4th revolution up to the south pole.

On the other hand, the frame dragging force which is perpendicular to the motion of the space craft doesn't change its direction during the half cycle of the space craft's journey. Therefore, there is a 2 to 1 ratio of the period of the force influencing the precession of the gyro, i.e., the direction of the force on the gyro changes along the latitude angle(from zero to 180 degree) while the force along the direction of the motion of the surface of the earth doesn't change in the azimuthal direction in half of the revolution of the space craft around the path from the north to the south pole, in which case, the GPB gyro's precession has to be a 2 x 1 Lissajous Curve

.

In general, the Lissajous curve is not closed when the ratio of axb is not an integer multiple. The observed 2x1 closed Lissajous signature is very unique and it is hard to conceive that this type of precession can be caused by a random electrostatic patch effect. This analysis is rather qualitative; however, given the fact that the details of the raw data of the GPB experiment haven't been released, it will be one of the interesting preliminary interpretations of the GPB results. It is also noted, by observing the figure of the polhode motion, that the magnitude of the frame dragging force at the altitude of the space craft housing the gyro is about the same order of magnitude as the dipole gravitational force. If there were no dipole gravity, but only the frame dragging effect, the precession of the gyro would have been circular(effectively a 1x1 Lissajous Curve).

Now, after this analysis, going back to the initial electrostatic patch effect hypothesis, what will be the probability that the random electrostatic patch could precisely emulate the dipole gravity effect for all four gyros used in the experiment? This will have to be an astronomical coincidence. It will be equivalent to saying that the faces in the mount Rushmore was a result of a natural weather phenomenon. Besides, due to the enormous repulsive force among themselves, electrostatic charges rarely clump together in a constrained region on the smooth conducting surface of an object. On the other hand, the separation of the charges positive in half of the sphere and negative in other half of the sphere would be even more difficult to create. A few volts of the charges to suspend the sphere inside the housing would not be enough to do the job in such a magnitude to influence the gyro as observed in the GP-B experiment. If the surface of the object were spiky, charges may be able to cling together onto the tips of the spikes, which is not the case for the quartz gyros coated with the superconducting metal used in the GP-B experiment.

If the observed huge polhode motion of the gyro was a systematic error caused by the electrostatic patch effect, they are basically admitting that their experiment was a total failure from the beginning. There can be no proof of anything from their experiment. The signal to noise ratio is simply too outrageous. If they believe this effect was really caused by the electrostatic patch effect, it should have been predicted and corrected before the launch of the space craft or they simply do not know what kind of mess they are at, when they announced the polhode motion of the gyro was caused by the electrostatic patch effect, after spending 700 million dollars of tax payer's money in the project. They should have announced instead that "there is an unknown effect that is much larger than expected".

In summary, so far up to this qualitative data point, it looks like the GPB mission was not a failure. It looks more like it was a triumphant success only if they use the correct theory to compare their data with. The failure could be rather in the old school's misinterpretation of General Relativity on the subject of the gravitational dipole moment.

The Importance of Choice of a Mechanical Model in Physics

In the world of physics, it is very difficult to make up an arbitrary theory and hope that it will work for everything. One physical factor is connected to hundreds of other physical events and eventually you will find out that your new theory has too many conflict with the well known physical phenomena that it is simply impossible to arbitrarily manufacture a theory of the nature and make it work. The true theory of the nature has to have the enormous sense of inevitability built into it. Then what makes the theory of dipole gravity inevitable and compelling? For one, it is at the core of general relativity that has been misinterpreted from the beginning.

For an example, when we set up a physical model of an object like a perfect sphere for the calculation of Newtonian gravity, there is no special reason for such a choice other than the ease of calculation of the field and the clarity of the concept that such a choice brings. One can equally have a cubical form of an object for the calculation of the Newtonian gravity. However, getting the accurate field around it in a closed mathematical format will be a nightmarish task and furthermore it serves no purpose in understanding how the force of gravity works in nature.

The serious mistake in the conventional treatment of the gravitational dipole moment in the weak field limit of general relativity was in the mindless choice of the spherical model object which completely obscures the dipole gravity effect. By the choice of the rotating spherical object, the effect of dipole gravity was already thrown out even before one has any chance to calculate it. This mistake can not be put under the rug and this is the main reason I urge Dr. Kip Thorne to revise his text book immediately. He can not continue misleading the innocent young minds especially when he knows of this mistake by many public announcement that I made so far. And I also know many of the readers of this blog have sent him email letters for explanation.

Because if one takes a look at the mechanics of the system more carefully, one can see that the special relativistic mass increase effect distorts the uniformity of the density of the rotating spherical object. So this simple observation should have already hinted the fact that the second order gravity effect of general relativity can not manifest clearly in the spherical model. But this question has never been materialized even though the Lense-Thirring effect provided the crucial hint for the need of such a consideration because it is the clear manifestation of the non-zero second order gravity effect at the center of the rotating spherical mass shell.

The importance of dipole gravity is not actually in its ability to explain the jets or the dark matter problems. It is in the urgency of the mathematical integrity and the physical inevitability that it carries with it. It shows how the equivalence principle brings out the second order effect of general relativity in the form of the magnet like dipole gravity.

Essentially, dipole gravity breaks all the rules of Newtonian mechanics and yet, you can not say it can't be correct because it is at the core of general relativity.

To denounce dipole gravity, you will have to find all the good reasons why general relativity can be wrong which you can't. This is where the compelling reason is outstanding for the experimental testing. But the textbooks on gravitation has to be revised based on the theoretical as well as on the mathematical integrity regardless of the testing, precisely the same way the quadrupole radiation is presented in the text books.

After all, there is no better teacher in science than experimentation.
